RANT: Revenge: Ruuude, Victoria! To get back at David for not wanting to run away with her without his daughter, she decided to alert David's former "employer" Malcolm Black (to be played by Sons of Anarchy's Tommy Flanagan) of Emily's true identity. Even more unfortunately, the message had to pass through one of Black's cronies...a certain Agent Kate Taylor, who received said message right before Jack showed up at her hotel room for a little hanky panky.
RAVE: Revenge: We might actually be on board with Emily dating Jack's dopey partner Ben, though we kind of can't imagine her dating a "normal" guy who is not hell bent on avenging the deaths of family members.
RANT: Revenge: Revenge ends and we forget about Louise. Revenge starts, and we continue to forget about Louise until she shows up randomly and reminds us how utterly pointless she still is. What was the actual story behind her father's death? Who cares?
RANT: Revenge: Margaux's pregnant? Does this show really need more babies to forget about? Or will Margaux be the one biting the dust in next week's midseason finale? We'll just have to wait and see!
RAVE: The Mentalist: It's back, and boy are we happy to see Jane and Lisbon finally together and acting like it! While we're tired of the whole "let's not tell the office" thing, this was an excellent premiere, and we'll be sad to see this series go when the season ends.
RANT: Once Upon a Time: Things happened with the Frozen storyline, but we kind of ignored them in favor of engrossing ourselves in the mac and cheese we just made. From scratch. You have to be really interesting to outshine homemade mac and cheese, and 30-year icicles just don't cut it. How is any of this going to work with Frozen 2? Do we even want to see Frozen 2 after a full year of non-stop Frozen 1? Not really.
RAVE: Once Upon a Time: We're actually kind of excited to see sort of evil versions of all our fave Storybrooke characters. We've weirdly missed Evil Regina, and we've also missed badass Charming and Snow, who have gotten a little too ooey gooey, so this could be quite fun.
RAVE: The Newsroom: It wasn't under the greatest of circumstances, but Will and Mackenzie are married! While their impromptu nuptials weren't quite Liz-Lemon-in-a-Princess-Leia-costume perfect, they were still pretty sweet. Unfortunately, they didn't get much of a honeymoon thanks to Will turning himself in and going to prison for not revealing Neal's source to the feds. That was kind of a bummer.
