Madonna has been in the business of shocking people for a long time.

So it is not so surprising she caused outrage when the singer posted photos on social media of Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela and Bob Marley transformed.

Their faces were wrapped in black cord to appear like her face on the cover of her upcoming album, Rebel Heart.
