WTF? Macy's Shoplifter Gets Caught, Smears Her Poop on Employees' Faces

WTF? Macy's Shoplifter Gets Caught, Smears Her Poop on Employees' Faces
Uhhh...
Humanity never ceases to amaze, especially with this shoplifting story. Florida residentMarisol Toribio stopped by a Fort Lauderdale Macy's and allegedly decided that she wasn't going to pay for her purchases and instead opted to try and steal them. Security, however, discovered her shoplifting attempt and caught her in the act.
What happens next is pretty unbelievable.
Rather than surrender herself to the members of security who tried to nab her, she allegedly pulled poop out of her pants and smeared it all over the employees' faces—her own poop—Local 10 is reporting.
The 32-year-old appeared in court Wednesday and faces theft charges in addition to a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
2014 must be the year of poop. Let's not forget when Cards Against Humanity sold 30,000 boxes of "bulls—t" on Black Friday—each box was filled with actual poop—for $6 a pop. It wasn't a surprise, however, as the game's website had advertised the gimmick exactly as it turned out to be: A box containing "literal feces, from an actual bull."
It doesn't get much clearer—or smellier—than that! So why the gross product on such a massive shopping day?
One of the game's co-creators, Max Temkin, told Time, "We all really hate Black Friday." Seems like a simple enough reason!
"It comes after this day where you're supposed to be thankful for what you have, and then it's just this whole huge media spectacle of people fighting each other to save $50 on a TV," he added.
"We also had the idea of issuing people a one penny off coupon, but that felt weird because it was still a deal," he said. "That's sort of still doing Black Friday."
But unlike Toribio, Cards Against Humanity's little gimmick contributed to charity! The game made 20 cents on each $6 sale, and profits went to Heifer International, a charity giving livestock (and sustainability) to help communities rebuild.
Here's to hoping 2015 is a poop-free year.

Chris Brown Cancels Philippines Performance Hours Before New Year's Eve Concert

Chris Brown Cancels Philippines Performance Hours Before New Year's Eve Concert

Chris Brown might have lost some Team Breezy members in Manila over this one.
On Wednesday, just hours before he was scheduled to headline a New Year's Eve concert at the Philippine Arena, the 25-year-old singer cancelled, announcing on Twitter that he could no longer perform.
"#TeamBreezyManila! Due to unfortunate circumstances I can't bring in the new year with you...," he tweeted.
"Too bad since the Philippines Arena is one of the best arenas in the world," he added. "Stay tuned Team Breezy!!!!"
He tried to reassure disappointed fans, tweeting, "#TeamBreezyManila I'll see you in spring."
Brown was supposed to be the main act at the 2015 Philippine Countdown New Year's Eve Concert, where he was set to join acts like BambooEnrique GilSam ConcepcionKZ Tandingan and Morissette.
And yes, despite Brown's absence, the show had to go on! The Philippine Arena added photos to its Facebook page of other artists performing at the NYE concert. They also posted an article about Brown's cancellation from the Philippine Star, complete with tweets from some rather disgruntled fans hoping to see Breezy at the show!
E! News reached out to Brown's rep for further details about the unforeseen circumstances leading to his cancellation, but we did not receive an immediate response.

Liam Neeson Thinks Taken Has Scared Americans From Visiting Europe

Liam Neeson Thinks Taken Has Scared Americans From Visiting Europe
Liam Neeson wasn't completely on board to star in sequels to his hit film Taken, but tweaks to the plots apparently swayed him enough to jump on board for a second and third film.
The 62-year-old stopped by The Graham Norton Show and opened up about how he was originally reluctant about joining the flicks.
"I said the second one wouldn't happen, and I said I wouldn't do a third one if someone got taken," he confessed.
"It's insulting to an audience as well as me. It's a good storyline and I'm the hunted instead of the hunter."
Neeson joked that the successful franchise may freaked Americans out so much that they're avoiding any overseas travel plans.
"Just the other day I got a letter from a school teacher in Texas who had tried to take 60 students to Europe and the families of 40 of them got the kids out of it because they had seenTaken 2."
He continued, "And then this year she wanted to take 20 of them and the parents all said, 'No, because we've seen that movie!'" Talk about a job hazard!
The Irish star also shared with the late-night host that going to the movie theaters doesn't quite have the same charm for him lately.
"I hate trailers, they give everything away," he said. "There's no mystery anymore."

BBC Postpones Controversial Prince Charles Documentary That Focuses on His Life After 1997 Death of Princess Diana

BBC Postpones Controversial Prince Charles Documentary That Focuses on His Life After 1997 Death of Princess Diana

The British Broadcasting Corporation has postponed plans to air a controversial documentary about Prince Charles' life and alleged bid to repair his public image following the death of ex-wife Princess Diana.
The program, Reinventing the Royals, was made without the cooperation of the royal family and was set to air on BBC 2 on Jan. 4. The BBC, a public station that British residents fund via a TV license fee, said in a statement that the documentary would be postponed indefinitely "while a number of issues, including the use of archive footage, are resolved," The New York Times reported.
The U.K. newspaper The Radio Times reported that the BBC made the decision to postpone Reinventing the Royals after "an intervention from lawyers known to represent senior members of the royal family, including the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall." The station has not commented. A spokesman for Clarence House, where Charles and wife Camila Parker Bowles live, have denied asking that the documentary be pulled or postponed, saying, "scheduling of television programs is a matter for the broadcaster," according to The New York Times.
Reinventing the Royals shows how Charles allegedly tried to repair his "battered image" after Diana's 1997 death, following their divorce and admissions of extramarital affairs, including his with now-wife Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, according to the U.K. newspaper The Radio Times.
Charles, documentary presenter Mark Hewlett says, had in the '90s hired Mark Bolland, a "new sort of a royal media manager—a spin doctor," who his and Diana's sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, nicknamed "Blackadder." The name appears to be a reference to Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson's conniving opportunist character in a popular British comedy series of the same name.
Bolland, Hewlett told the newspaper, took "every opportunity" to show Charles' "his different side as a single parent and caring father" and also wanted to "bring about a degree of public acceptance" for Parker Bowles, a PR campaign palace insiders dubbed "Operation Mrs. PB," Hewlett added.
Diana, one of the most beloved royals of all time, died at age 36 in a car crash in Paris in 1997 after being chased by the paparazzi. She and Charles had quietly separated in late 1991. Three years later, the prince admitted in a BBC interview that he had cheated on his wife.
A year after that and two years before her death, in 1995, Diana gave a candid interview to Martin Bashir for the news show Panorama, in which she talked about her troubled marriage and her husband's infidelity, citing Parker Bowles and saying, "There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded." She also admitted to her own adulterous affair with another man—her former riding instructor. Hewlett was the editor of the program at the time.
Diana's interview made international headlines and weeks later, Charles' mother and British monarch Queen Elizabeth II urged her son, the heir to the throne, and Diana to seek an "early divorce." It was finalized in August 1996. Charles married Parker Bowles in 2005.
Hewlett told The Radio Times that Reinventing the Royals also includes the first TV interview with Sandy Henney, who served as Charles' press secretary at the time of Diana's death. Hewlett says Henney says in the documentary that in 1993, Charles was "getting some pretty virulent criticism—bad father, unloving husband. I think he was pretty hurt...if you've got a middle-aged balding man and a beautiful princess, it's a no-brainer as to who is going to get the media coverage."
William met Parker Bowles for the first time nine days before his 16th birthday and 10 months after Diana's death. Henney was the one who broke the news to him that the British tabloid The Sun had published a story about their meeting, Hewlett told The Radio Times, adding that she says on the show that the teenage prince was "understandably really upset because it was private" and that it marked a "defining moment" for him, because he "felt as if he had been used to further his father's interests."
Hewlett also told The Radio Times that Reinventing the Royals also features an interview with a former royal correspondent and former personal confidant of William and Harry, who says the two never lost their disdain for the press. The now-adult princes, and William's wife Kate Middleton and son Prince George, 1, nowadays make numerous public appearances and are the most popular and most photographed British royals.

Netflix's New Year's Countdown Helps Parents Trick Kids Into Thinking 2015 Has Come Early!

Netflix's New Year's Countdown Helps Parents Trick Kids Into Thinking 2015 Has Come Early!

Starting off the New Year lying might not be the best idea, but fibbing at the tail end of 2014 is A-OK.
That's why, parents, you shouldn't feel the least bit guilty if you use Netflix's New Year's Countdown to convince the kids it's already 2015 (even if you have a few hours until midnight)!
King Julien, the lemur from the Madagascar movies, leads the countdown celebration for "the most awesomest night of the year," asking his fellow animals (and viewers at home), "Are you ready to party with me? Let's do this!"
The YouTube clip is just a teaser, but the full 3-minute "All Hail King Julien" countdown is onNetflix. King Julien and the jungle animals party out and celebrate the year ahead, and the special even keeps track as the minutes to midnight* tick away. (When exactly midnight is for each viewer will vary based on parents' plans for post-putting-the-kids-to-bed.)
According to a study carried out by Netflix and Wakefield Research, 34 percent of parents announce the new year ahead of time. Most parents are home with the kids, too—an estimated 87 percent, in fact.
Party on, whenever your bedtime might be!

Schmidt Is Becoming Hillary Clinton on New Girl and It's Amazing

Schmidt Is Becoming Hillary Clinton on New Girl and It's Amazing

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
That's what New Girl fans can expect to see when the Fox hit returns on Jan. 6: desperate times and desperate measures.
The desperate times? "There's construction going on outside the loft and it's disrupting the group," Max Greenfield previews in our exclusive sneak peek at "Shark" above. The desperate measures? Councilwoman Fawn Moscato (Zoe Lister Jones), who Schmidt will attempt to seduce in order to fix their construction woes. The results? Hilarious...and Hillary Clintoninspired?!
"Schmidt tries to use his sexuality to influence her and it doesn't work," Greenfield says in the exclusive video above. Why doesn't it work? Moscato "is far more sexual than Schmidt."
And it turns out Moscato may have big political plans for Schmidt, whom she asks, "Has anyone ever told you you look like a Jewish Kennedy?" Greenfield teases, "Schmidt sees a real end game here, and that's being the First Man of the White House."
And Schmidt's relationship role models? Bill Clinton and Hillary! "This could be a real Bill and Hillary situation," he tells Jess (Zooey Deschanel). "I'm Hillary!"
Hm...New Girl spinoff focusing on Schmidt in the White House? We're in!

Robin Williams' Daughter Zelda Celebrates New Year's in Sydney With Her Boyfriend: ''It Can Be Hard to Find Happiness When You're Sad''

Robin Williams' daughter, Zelda Williams, is ringing in the New Year Down Under.
Four months after her father's tragic death, the 25-year-old celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve with her boyfriend, Aussie actor Jackson Heywood, in Sydney. Zelda has been documenting her holidays in Australia on Instagram.
Earlier today, Zelda posted an Instagram photo of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the caption, "In about 7 & a half hours, this thing is gonna light up like the Fourth of July! New Years time!"
Zelda has also been sharing many snapshots of her sightseeing, including pics of wallabies, spiders and other animals at a sanctuary.
Zelda even posted an adorable beach photo of herself lying on her man's back on the sand by the water. "Human La-Z-Boy, much better than a beach towel," she captioned the sweet pic.

Lorde's Mom Snaps a Makeup-Free Photo of the Singer—See Her Fresh-Faced Look!

Lorde's Mom Snaps a Makeup-Free Photo of the Singer—See Her Fresh-Faced Look!

Look mom, no makeup!
At least we think that's what Lorde could be saying. The songstress appeared happy and relaxed in an impromptu snapshot—alongside her older sister Jerry and boyfriend James Lowe—which was posted to Instagram on Dec. 30 by Lorde's mom, Sonja Yelich. And the star is totally fresh-faced in the pic—no plum-colored lips or winged eyeliner in sight.
This isn't the first time we've seen Lorde without makeup, of course: The singer has posted her own fresh-faced selfies to Instagram (zit cream on and eye masks in place). #Keepingithighlyreal, Lorde edition.
While the star usually favors black and red for public appearances, the at-home snapshot shows her wearing a simple white tee and printed trousers. (We're guessing this au naturel getup is super-comfortable.)
Holiday-at-home aside, we expect a glam beauty look to be in the cards for the singer when she takes to the red carpet for the Golden Globes on Jan. 11. Lorde received a Best Original Song nomination for "Yellow Flicker Beat," which was featured in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1.
What do you think of Lorde's fresh-faced look?

Is Kate Middleton Slacking on Her Royal Duties?

Is Kate Middleton Slacking on Her Royal Duties?

There is no rest for the weary!
A survey conducted by the Daily Mail revealed that Kate Middleton is the slacker among the 15 royals polled regarding their public duties. The 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge participated in only 76 public engagements while 93-year-old Prince Philip managed to show up to 200!

To be fair, Kate had Prince George and has also been sick throughout her second pregnancy, so we can't really fault her for her less-intense schedule. But for a 93-year-old to pull in 200 events? That's pretty incredible.
The Queen Elizabeth II, however, holds the record among the 15 royals. At 88 years old, the queen appeared at around 375 events, sometimes attending more than six in a day, according to the Daily Mail. These Brits are a lively bunch LOL!
But is there another explanation for Prince William's other half's less hectic schedule? Sources tell the site that Kate has always wanted to focus her first few years as a member of the royal family on her children and being a wife, and the queen has shown support for her decision.
Prince William will also be going against the norm in a little while, having accepted a full-time job outside of his public appearances as a royal. The 32-year-old royal will begin a new job with a civilian air ambulance force next spring.
Even though her numbers might be lower than the others, Kate has upped her appearances as of late, including a major trip to the U.S. and a comfortable outing to a Beaver Scout meeting, where she helped children earn their Disability Awareness Awards by participating in different activities while wearing blindfolds or boxing gloves (no hands).
Although she gave it her all despite suffering from severe morning sickness, Kate Middleton was trumped by other members of her family. The real winner, according to the site, was Prince Charles with a whopping 450 royal visits under his belt. We're exhausted just thinking about it!
Love all things royal? Check out E!'s new series The Royals, starring Elizabeth Hurley and premiering in March 2015.

Fox & Friends' #OverIt2014 Twitter Chat Completely Backfires—See Some of the Best Reactions!

Fox & Friends' #OverIt2014 Twitter Chat Completely Backfires—See Some of the Best Reactions!

Well this didn't go as planned…
Yesterday, Fox & Friends launched an end-of-the year Twitter campaign asking fans (and, well, anyone) to share some of the things they were glad to leave behind in 2014.
"2014 has been a year full of things we don't want to see in the New Year," the news show's Twitter posted. "What are YOU over? Comment with #OverIt2014."
Suffice to say, people really ran with that hashtag and turned it into something Fox probably should've seen coming from a mile away.
Yep, you guessed it, tweets came pouring in filled with witty jabs, insults aimed at the network and nightly program, and just complaints all around.
It turns out that there's a lot to be over about this past year, and the Twittersphere isn't holding back.
And in looking back at 2014, Fox had a lot of company in the social media efforts gone wrong for companies.
Everyone from US Airlines to DiGiorno Pizza and American Apparel have run into major blunders on Instagram and Twitter over the last few months—only to be forced to apologize shortly after their offensive and/or ill-advised posts.
Companies not thinking about potential backlash stemming from their actions? #OverIt2014

New Year's Eve "Possum Drop" Won't Use Live Animal This Year, but "a Dead Possum, Road Kill Maybe"

New Year's Eve "Possum Drop" Won't Use Live Animal This Year, but "a Dead Possum, Road Kill Maybe"
Way to defy stereotypes, North Carolina!
A tiny Southern community called Brasstown will continue its tradition of ringing in New Year's Eve with a "Possum Drop," but for the first time in 20 years, they won't be using a live animal!
Per the Wall Street Journal, organizers at the Brasstown Possum Drop will still count down to midnight by lowering a plexiglass box from a pole at Clay's Corner Convenience Store. After a three-year court battle with PETA, though, the tradition and opossum theme is getting toned down a few notches.
"We'll probably just lower some other form of opossum, a dead possum, road kill maybe, or possum stew," festival organizer Clay Logan told the WSJ. "It is the Possum Drop after all."
Last year, festival organizers compromised somewhat by having a live possum on the ground and its likeness suspended in the air. This didn't satisfy protestors, though, who argued that the brass band music and fireworks historically accompanying the countdown at the event still cause unnecessary distress to the live animal.
In 2013, the state passed a new law, the Opossum Right to Work Act, but earlier this year, the Clay County Opossum Exclusion passed, granting an exception allowing for Clay's Corner Convenience Store to drop the animal between Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 of each year.
Per the WSJ, PETA feared this exception would create "a zone of lawlessness" allowing those in Clay County to treat any opossum in any manner they chose with no recourse. So, PETA is still challenging this exception granted to Clay County, but a North Carolina senior administrative law judge said there was no need to grant the request this year because Mr. Logan promised the judge in writing not to use a live possum.
PETA said Monday it would be OK with the use of a previously killed opossum—something North Carolinians should have no trouble acquiring from any roadside.

Kendall Jenner Shows Off Her Insane Bikini Body in Instagram Pic

Kendall Jenner Shows Off Her Insane Bikini Body in Instagram Pic

This is why she's a supermodel!
Kendall Jenner is ringing in the New Year in Dubai, but she gave fans a little more than they bargained for when she Instagrammed a picture of herself wearing only an itsy-bitsy bikini! The Keeping up With the Kardashians star's body is unbelievable with its ridiculously toned abs.
Getting in shape definitely won't be on this model's list of resolutions because she is already insanely fit! Kendall captioned her revealing pic, "Dubyeeee 2014," placing a nice pun on her vacation destination. She and her friends have been posting tons of pictures from their vacations, making us think that this is an alternate version of Sex and the City 2.
Gigi HadidSelena GomezShay Mitchell and Kendall certainly haven't been lying low while visiting the United Arab Emirates. In fact, Gigi and Shay actually decided to spice things up in an awesome but definitely terrifying way when they went skydiving. The Pretty Little Liars star, who has become known for her Instagram and blog, documented her adventurous journey with her model pal.
She captioned one snapshot, "Current theme of today...incredible views! From skydiving this morning to sitting up top of the Burj Khalifa tonight!"
That doesn't sound too shabby!
Gigi, on the other hand, documented her adventure by posting a hilarious picture on Twitterthat showed her telling all of her famous friends and father that she survived the plunge. (Side note: Notice how she has Selena and Kendall casually in a group chat...NBD).
Selena opted out of the plane jump and instead took in some soccer with other gal-pals. It has been a busy vacation for this crew, but it hasn't been only the four of them. Prior to arriving in Dubai, the girls toured Abu Dhabi with none other than Gigi's boyfriend Cody Simpson. The large group of 14 managed to get together to document their visit, which was filled with tons of architecture.
Consider us jealous!

Lea Michele Flaunts Bikini Bod in Mexico While Packing on PDA With Boyfriend Matthew Paetz

Looks like Lea Michele had a very merry Christmas!
The 28-year-old Glee star enjoyed the holidays in Mexico with boyfriend Matthew Paetz. The brunette beauty was photographed beaming from ear to ear as she flaunted her impressive bikini bod on the beach, sporting a tiny white swimsuit which revealed her svelte figure.
Michele, who stays fit with the help of frequent hikes in Los Angeles, smiled while showing off her affection for her beau (who also looks mighty fine shirtless!) as the two enjoyed a playful afternoon, frolicking in the sand together.
The actress' relationship with Paetz was first reported in June after the two met on the set of Lea's "On My Way" music video shoot. Since coupling up, the pair has seemingly become quite serious, and in September, a source confirmed to E! News that the two had moved intogether.
"It just made sense for them to move in cause they spend so much time with one another. He treats her like a queen," the insider revealed.

Brittany Maynard Remembered in Family Tributes, Weeks After Terminal Cancer Patient Ended Her Life: "She Is Home"

Brittany Maynard Remembered in Family Tributes, Weeks After Terminal Cancer Patient Ended Her Life: "She Is Home"
Brittany Maynard loved to walk through the woods.
It was one the final things the 29-year-old did before she ended her own life in accordance with Oregon's Death With Dignity Act after battling terminal brain cancer, according to her mother, and that is where she was also laid to rest.
Her mom, Deborah Ziegler, and husband, Dan Diaz, penned touching tributes to Maynard forThe New York Daily News that were published on Tuesday, almost two months after her death and two days before the one-year anniversary of her heartbreaking diagnosis.
During the final months of her life, Maynard had traveled with her family to places such as Tongass National Forest in Alaska and the Grand Canyon.
"Even when seizures began, even when she began to fall on occasion, her ankle giving way as it no longer received messages from her brain, Brittany loved to walk through the woods," her mother wrote.
On New Year's Day 2014, doctors had diagnosed Maynard with stage four glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, and gave her a prognosis of six months left to live. In a surprise move, she announced publicly that she intended to die by taking a fatal dose of barbiturates, prescribed to her by a doctor, when her suffering became too great. She ended her own life, peacefully, on Nov. 1.
"My child walked through the woods the day that she chose to slip the bounds of this earth," Ziegler wrote. "She marveled at nature's beauty as a group of friends and family wandered through trees that were over a hundred years old. We switched places by her side, rotating in and out, everyone longing to be close to her. My sweet girl, on the razor's edge of death, took in the beauty of the day."
"This ability to decide to live, to decide to notice beauty, to decide to be the most that she could be and then go before everything that made her who she was—was diminished, is what made Brittany the bravest and most intelligent woman I've ever known," she added. "I miss her terribly. I am so proud to have been her mother that my heart is full to bursting. Brittany's ashes lie amongst a grove of trees. She is home."
Maynard's Facebook profile picture shows her with Diaz, her husband of two years, at the Grand Canyon.
The recent holidays, Diaz says in his tribute to his wife, have been tough.
"We moved into our house in northern California two years ago, and the last two holidays we hosted my family for Christmas Eve. We didn't do that this year," he wrote. "I put the lights up outside, but I didn't get a tree or anything. It was Brittany who decorated inside, with lots of holly and wreaths."
"These days I carry her driver's license in my wallet, with mine right behind it," he added. "Whenever I'm paying for something at the grocery store, I see her picture. I remember her day to day smile, her laugh, a conversation. She's the woman I love."

Khloé Kardashian Bumps Into Ex-Boyfriend French Montana: "I Think Being Single Is Really Healthy for People"

Khloé Kardashian and French Montana can't keep their distance.
The amicable exes had dinner at Mirage's Stack restaurant in Las Vegas Tuesday, albeit at separate tables. According to People, they did, however, appear very cordial as they said hello to each other.
Later that night, the Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons star, 30, seemed upbeat as she discussed her recent breakup with the "Bad Bitch" rapper, 30. "I think being single is really healthy for people," she said while hosting a party at 1OAK Nightclub. "I think people who go into one relationship to another, I don't know if they have a healing process or know what went wrong or how to better themselves."
The exes first broke up in September but later reconnected. Throughout their courtship, Kardashian continually played coy about their relationship status. In fact, she once told E! News, "We're hanging out, but I don't think there's a title or anything...We've been having fun but there's nothing concrete."
After filing for divorce from former NBA player Lamar Odom just a few weeks ago, Kardashian told People she will continue working on her happiness next year. "I just want to have fun," the E! star said.
What has she learned? "I just want to really enjoy life. I feel like I had a really good 2014. I just want to make 2015 better and better," she shared. "I just want to win. I just wanted to win at everything I do."
Tune in for the season finale of Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons, this Sunday at 9 p.m., only on E!

Kate Hudson Tries to FaceTime Justin Timberlake, Gets Denied!
That was way harsh, Justin Timberlake!
Kate Hudson, her brother and some friends decided that they would have a little fun this Christmas—by randomly calling FaceTiming people in Oliver Hudson's phone! Of course, the pranksters Instagrammed their deviously fun night, but called out—pun totally intended—one particular recipient who decided not to answer the video chat request.
"This is what it looks like when you Face Time random names on your brothers phone... @justintimberlake denied our call... #ChristmasColdCalls," Kate captioned the pic.
Ouch. He didn't comment back on the pic either, so it looks like he's just going to ignore the attention completely! Maybe he would've answered had they called from Kate's phone? No way to tell, but better luck next time!
It's great to see the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress looking so merry, as she and Matt Bellamy recently announced their split after four years together. But the formerly engaged couple has reunited since calling off their marriage. Parents to 3-year-old son Bingham, Kate and Matt strolled around Aspen looking cordial during their pre-Christmas vacation.
"Friends are with them. Kate's brother is there too. Overall, it looks very friendly and not romantic," an eyewitness told E! News, noting that the blond bombshell wasn't wearing her engagement ring from the Muse rocker.
It seems as if they're staying true to their word! When they announced their breakup they said that the "remain very close friends and committed co-parents."
It's always great to see a former couple that can remain friends!

Nicki Minaj Talks Racism, Why More Black Artists Aren't Speaking Up: "Look What Happened to Kanye"

Nicki Minaj isn't one of the artists caught up in a racially fueled Twitter war at the moment, but that doesn't mean she's not upset about ongoing injustice in our society.
In her new Rolling Stone interview, the rapper opens up about recent incidents of police violence against black Americans, including the unpunished killing of Eric Garner.
"It's sickening, and I've been reading so many people saying, 'Why are we surprised?' That's what's really sad: that we should somehow be used to being treated like animals," she tells the mag. "It's gotten to the point where people feel like there's no accountability: If you are law enforcement and you do something to a black person, you can get away with it."
"I feel like when Public Enemy were doing 'Fight the Power,' we as a culture had more power—now it feels hopeless," Nicki tells Rolling Stone. "People say, 'Why aren't black celebrities speaking out more?' But look what happened to Kanye [West] when he spoke out. People told him to apologize to [George W.Bush!"
Nicki, of course, is referring to the time in 2005 when Kanye went off-teleprompter during a telethon raising funds for Hurricane Katrina victims. Standing alongside Mike Myers, the rapper vented about racism in the media before declaring, "George Bush doesn't care about black people."
"He was the unofficial spokesman for hip-hop, and he got torn apart," Nicki recalls. And like she says, Kanye did apologize to Bush, but it seemed to be on his own volition. In a 2005 Todayinterview, he admitted, "in my moment of frustration, I didn't have the grounds to call him a racist," adding, "we as human beings don't always choose the right words."
The former president addressed Kanye's comments again in his 2010 memoir Decision Points. The rapper appeared again on Today, saying he "empathized" with W. "His take, his explanation—I completely agree with," 'Ye said. "In a moment of emotion, to peg someone as a racist, it's just not right."
Kanye added, though, that even when he "was considered to have done something wrong, my motivation was in the right place."
Nicki, however, feels the aftermath of the 2005 had a quieting effect not just on Kanye, but on all black artists. She tells Rolling Stone that recently, "You haven't heard him [Kanye] speaking about these last couple things, and it's sad."
"Because how many times can you be made to feel horrible for caring about your people," she asks, "before you say, 'F--k it, it's not worth it, let me live my life because I'm rich, and why should I give a f--k?'"
