Dakota Johnson Lands First Vogue Cover, Plans to "Take the Rest of the Year Off" After Fifty Shades of Grey

The 25-year-old actress covers Vogue's February 2015, her first time doing so for the fashion bible. For Johnson, it's yet another reminder that her life will never be the same thanks to Fifty Shades of Grey. "I wanted to be involved because it's so different," she tells the magazine, "and it's an intense love story."

For her Fifty Shades of Grey audition, Johnson was given a monologue from the 1966 psychological drama Persona. "She blew us out of the water," director Sam Taylor-Johnsonremembers. "She understood the nuance of that passage and how to play something delicately. Dakota has the ability to play so fragile and vulnerable, but with this underlying strength that makes you feel she is going to triumph."

"There are tough scenes in this movie, scenes where she had to be naked—and not just in the flesh. But she was utterly fearless and brave," Taylor-Johnson adds. According to the filmmaker, Johnson and co-star Jamie Dornan "have a very special connection. I trust her with everything. She has a very level head, and there was never really an anxious moment." Dornan calls his leading lady "very funny," explaining, "Humor on a film set goes a long way. But she also had the ability to be a very strong dramatic actress. She'd be telling a joke one minute and breaking your heart on-screen the next—so she was perfect."

After seeing a rough cut of the film (in theaters Feb. 13), Johnson marvels, "It looks beautiful. I've never seen anything like it. But it's confusing to the brain—I still can't look at it objectively or wrap my head around it. The parts of the movie that are difficult to watch were even more difficult—and emotionally taxing—to shoot."

Though her parents are famous actors, Johnson is still getting used to life in the limelight.

"I think about my dwindling anonymity, and that's really scary because a very large part of me would be perfectly happy living on a ranch in Colorado and having babies and chickens and horses—which I will do anyway," she vows. Though it can be intimidating, she says, "It's just the most insane thing to be a part of. I've never experienced anything like this; I don't think anyone has. It's terrifying—and it's exciting."

Taylor-Johnson is eager to see where the movie takes Johnson's career. "I think it's going to take her to a place where she has witnessed her parents go," she says. "Now she's going to experience it for herself."

Johnson isn't worried about landing her next role—at least not now, anyway. "[I'll] do a bit of press for Fifty, and then I'm just going to take the rest of the year off," she tells Vogue. "I want to hang out with my friends. I want to hang out with my family—well, I sometimes want to hang out with my family!"

It turns out the already incredibly talented performer can talk and sing with her mouth closed! Her talent isn't just a bunch of garbled words either; she can actually be heard very clearly even though her lips don't open!

"I discovered when I was little that I could pretend I was in a box," she said. "I was a lonely child with two other sisters."

But it was only when she got older that she discovered that her stuck-in-a-box skill could expand into singing. Naturally the Grammy nominee opted to give the audience a special version of "Bang Bang."

"Talk about campaigning," the host said. "This show is shown in America!"

And just because her mouth is closed doesn't mean Jessie J doesn't put in the same effort. The British singer crushed it! Seriously, give her a stage and a mic and she could put on a concert with her mouth closed.

s as a fantastic songwriter and is responsible for megahits such as Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A." The song was so successful, she said, that it ended up paying her bills for three years.

"You've got to write songs, that's where the money is, being an artist. "'Party in the U.S.A.' paid my rent for, like, three years," she told Glamour. "Actually it was way longer than that. That's where I get most of my money. I write songs. I'm a singer. I love endorsements and stuff, but that's all added on."

"If he puts the same amount of dedication and love into raising his child as he does into his work, he is going to be the greatest dad of all time," Cumberbatch's The Imitation Game co-star Allen Leech recently told me.

Cumberbatch and his fiancée Sophie Hunter, announced on Jan. 7 that she was pregnant with their first child. "I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child. They are both over the moon," the actor's rep said in a statement.

Leech said he and Cumberbatch celebrated his impending fatherhood shortly after the news broke.

"I saw him and we had a little celebration," he said. "I think we celebrated with a margarita...I don't know why we had margaritas. I suppose we sampled everything else on the menu."

Salt or no salt?

"Salt," Leech said. "The whole thing was covered in salt."

The Sherlock actor and his theater actress and director wife-to-be announced theirengagement in early November via a paid-for announcement in The Times newspaper's classified section. The announcement named his parents, Wanda and Timothy, and hers,Katharine and Charles.

Shannen Doherty insists she didn't diss Jason Priestley.

Last week, during an interview on Jenny Hutt's Sirius XM radio show, the actress addressed claims made by her former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star in his book, Jason Priestley: A Memoir. After the podcast aired, Priestley reached out to Doherty via Twitter, writing, " I don't know what to say..." He also tweeted, "PS. Love you Shannen... I had nothing but love for you in my book...had u read it u would have seen..."

Doherty clarified her comments about Priestley, telling People that he "just said he loves me."

The 43-year-old actress admitted that she felt "bamboozled" by the press attention her radio interview received. "We were 18. Who cares?" she said of her drama with Priestley. "To keep rehashing stuff from when we were 18 years old it's like, 'Man, who's stuck in the '90s?' It's not me! I'd like to move past it."

Holly Marie Combs, who also stars in Great American Country's Off the Map with Shannen and Holly, came to her defense, saying she's seen Priestley "wax poetically about her and tell her how great she is."

Doherty has a history of feuding with her co-stars, of course.

Regarding their falling out with Alyssa Milano, the actresses' Charmed co-star, Combs didn't deny that there was drama, saying, "People should take comfort in knowing we were like real sisters, meaning we got along a lot, we were at each other's weddings, we didn't speak sometimes, we hated each other sometimes [and] we wanted to punch each other in the face sometimes. We were really like sisters."

In a July 2013 interview on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, Milano recalled her time on The WB series. "Holly and Shannen were best friends for like 10 years before the show started, so it was very much sort of like high school. I would hope that in our thirties it wouldn't be like that anymore...I never went to a high school because I was tutored on the set, but I imagine it would have been a lot like that."

During a Fox News interview Monday, Doherty declined to comment on Milano's recollection.

"You know what? I think it's high school for us to talk about it," she said. "Let's just let it be."

Combs agreed with Doherty's suggestion, saying, "The only thing I would like to do is to promote a new show, and I don't want to use an old show to do that. If my new show needs my old show's publicity than my new show ain't that good. When people talk about stuff like that it's to sell a book. If you're selling a book and your present life isn't so great, then maybe let's not talk about the past so much."

Jennifer Lopez doesn't always come out on top. In fact, last night, she was on the bottom.

The Boy Next Door actress teamed up with Jimmy Fallon to play three rounds of Catchphrase on NBC's The Tonight Show. They played against actor Anthony Mackie and the show's announcer, Steve Higgins.

"Dude! I don't like to lose!" Lopez warned her teammate.

Mackie was equally competitive, saying, "I had to get rid of Taboo in my house. I start fights!"

During the intense first round, the teams' phrases included "Super Bowl," "photobomb," "ugly duckling," "fist bump," "hump day," "make it rain" and "slow your roll." Lopez and Fallon took the early lead after the buzzer sounded during Mackie's turn, and it took all four players a minute to recover for round two!

"Oh, my God!" Fallon said. "That was the best round of the game I've ever played in my lifetime!"

The second round of phrases included "hula hoop," "couch potato," "pinkeye," "tough cookie" and "tongue-tied." Lopez tried to describe "chip on your shoulder," but the buzzer went off just before Fallon figured it out. "Go back to the tape!" the host argued. Lopez reminded him, "There's no replay!"

or the third and final round—the tie-breaker—the competitors described the phrases "five o'clock shadow," "in the doghouse," "funny bone" and "wisdom teeth." Lopez's card read "bottom line," and she tried her best to clue Fallon in. At one point, she pointed to her butt. "The rear!" the comic shouted.

Needless to say, they lost.

"I'm so mad! I'm so mad!" Lopez said. "I hate you!"

Fallon laughed and replied, "I was distracted!"

It turns out, they aren't. The 1975's Matt Healy and Taylor Swift may have exchanged phone numbers in the fall of 2014, but the musicians' long distance bills haven't gotten any higher. The British rock star, 25, addressed the rampant romance rumors last week during a radio interview with Australia's 2DayFM. "It's fake. It's all bloody fake. It's a farce!" he said of reports that he's secretly seeing the pop star, 25.

"We met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do, and we spoke occasionally," he said. "She's the biggest pop star in the world and I'm in Australia. There's no relationship or anything happening. It's just funny how people really, really buy into that."

Healy reiterated that "it really didn't happen," but joked that "it would be amazing for me if it did."

After Healy was linked to Swift last year, he was compared to one of the "Blank Space" singer's exes. "It was like with Harry Styles. There's nobody I know less on the planet than Harry Styles. There's nobody I've laid eyes on less in my life than Harry Styles. But because we were doing things—you have music, or whatever, hair, or whatever—people start talking about us...and then we were in the press," the "Settle Down" singer recalled. "We were best friends, we were hanging out...Those things spiral out of control."

Swift, who kicks off her world tour in May, isn't looking for a boyfriend right now. "It's not that [I've sworn off dating] as much as I'm just very protective of my happiness," she told E! Newslast year. "I found a place in my life that feels really great and I'm not willing to compromise that for just anyone, and so, you can paraphrase that all you want into something very extreme, but they make what I say extreme no matter what I say. So, I'm really happy about the fact that being single doesn't feel like being alone. I have love in my life, I just don't have a relationship, and that feels really natural right now."

Rowland welcomed a baby boy with husband Tim Weatherspoon on Nov. 4. As one can imagine, the proud mom immediately fell in love with little Titan Jewell Weatherspoon.

E! News can confirm the 38-year-old actress and husband Hayes MacArthur welcomed a healthy and happy baby last Thursday.

"It's a girl!  We couldn't be more excited to share news of the arrival of Vivienne Margaret MacArthur on Thursday January 15th 2015," Larter shared on her website Monday night. "She came bearing gifts for her brother: Batman sheets and lots of Gummy Bears!!!  7.5 lbs of love."

This marks the second child for the couple who are already proud parents to their four-year-old son, Theodore Hayes. 

During her second pregnancy, the Heroes and Legends alumna decided to switch things up a bit by keeping the baby's gender a secret until the very end.

"I don't think we're going to [find out]," she told E! News at a recent Pampers event in New York City. "Last time, we knew we were having a boy but this time, it's fun having this little surprise in here." 

Instead, the actress tried her absolute best to rest and relax, while also enjoying a few pregnancy cravings along the way. 

"I can't deny myself," she admitted to E! News. "I convince myself the baby is desperate for that lobster roll or those onion rings. I'm in the northwest right now so it's all about fried clams and lobster rolls." That's a darn lucky baby!

But when not savoring a few tasty treats or vacationing by the beach, the proud mom admitted that expecting a baby the second time around isn't exactly easier. 

"I'm working and running around…things don't really slow down, so it's a little bit less charming," she shared with People.  "That being said, I feel like so blessed and lucky to be having our baby." Awww!

Zedd is a talented producer and DJ who helped create huge hits including Ariana Grande's "Break Free" and Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat."

But talent aside, we still can't help but acknowledge the couple's behavior at a recent Golden Globes after-party.

 An eyewitness spotted the twosome holding hands and engaging in "innocent PDA."

The plastic surgery fix comes after the MTV star admitted to going under the knife on more than one occasion.

In 2012, Farah received a rhinoplasty and a chin implant that made her "feel gorgeous." She also had two boob jobs.

"I hate that surgeries cost this much, but it was worth it," she told InTouch. "There was pain, but it was very worth it."

And while nobody knows for sure what exactly causes Abraham to go under the knife time and time again, Lisa Rinna recently made a joke after discovering the reality star's habit.

"I apologize for starting this s--t 26 years ago," Rinna posted (then deleted) on social media after finding pictures of Abraham's botched surgery. "Please forgive me." Something tells us it's not your fault at all.

Less than five months after Ansel Elgort and high school sweetheart Violetta Komyshanbroke up, the pair appear to be giving their relationship another chance.

After the pair was spotted together at Reagan National Airport this weekend in Washington D.C., a source confirms to E! News that the two have indeed reconciled.

"They just missed each other," a source told Us who first confirmed the news. "He didn't really see anyone else seriously while they were split."

Many believed the actor's busy schedule including roles in Divergent and The Fault in Our Starscontributed to the break up back in August.

While Elgort has experienced a whole new level of celebrity status (not to mention a few teenage admirers) in recent months, the 20-year-old actor recently admitted that he's not using his newfound fame for personal gain.

"What's changed is: 'Oh, you can go to this restaurant,' or 'You can go to this nightclub,' but I'm not really interested in that," he admitted to GQ magazine. "I don't really care that some trashy girl, like, now all of the sudden wants to f--k me. That's not really that interesting to me."

He added, "What's interesting to me is the fact that creatively I can do anything now and people will pay attention, and if I suck, hopefully they will stop paying attention very quickly, but if I'm good, then I have my foot in the door, and people have paid attention, and I did a good job, and people are like, 'Oh, wow!' That's sweet!"

Moving forward, Elgort also isn't exactly going to take any big-screen role that comes his way. Instead, he's going to be a little more choosey.

"I still have my entire twenties to make movies. I'm in no hurry," he said. "I know I'm going to work. I'm not antsy. There's no reason to be in five mediocre movies a year when I can be in one great movie."

Zooey Deschanel is expecting her first child with Jacob Pechenik, a rep confirms to E! News. The twosome have been dating since mid-2014, and their baby is due next summer.

"Jacob and I are over the moon," the She & Him singer told People. "We are so excited to meet our little one."

Deschanel, 34, and her producer boyfriend, 42, will already have some play dates lined up for their little bundle of joy as the Elf actress' sister, Emily Deschanel, is also expecting! As E! News first reported, the Bones star is pregnant with her second child with husband David Hornsby.

Zooey and Jacob have been hot and heavy for quite some time now, dabbling in a lot of PDA over the past few months. The cute couple shared an intense kiss after having lunch together, and an eyewitness told E! News that they couldn't keep their hands off of each other throughout the meal!

"She was smiling and laughing at the things he was saying," and "when they got up to leave, he put his arm around her and they walked out together," the source told us.  

The couple is working on her next film together, Rock the Kasbah, which follows a washed-up American music manager in Afghanistan who discovers a girl with an amazing voice and steers her toward her country's wildly popular show, Afghan Star. Bruce Willis, Bill Murray and Taylor Kinney are also cast in the comedy, which means we'll definitely be there when it comes out!

The first trailer for Spy debuted on Yahoo! U.K. Tuesday. McCarthy plays a CIA analyst named Susan Cooper who volunteers for duty when a field agent (Jude Law) goes missing and another agent (Jason Statham) is compromised. "We need someone invisible," Allison Janney's character explains. "I'll do it," Susan says. Armed with a variety of wigs, she assumes a new identity: a divorced housewife from Iowa.

Susan isn't as adept as her colleagues, meaning there's plenty of physical comedy from McCarthy.

This is the third time McCarthy has teamed up with director Paul Feig, after Bridesmaids andThe Heat.

Spy opens May 22. It also stars 50 Cent, Morena Baccarin, Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale.

In a new episode of Kate Plus 8, airing tonight on TLC, Kate Gosselin butts heads with her now 14-year-old daughter Mady (since when did these kids grow up?!) after taking away the teenager's cell phone.

Which obviously went over really well.

"If you had a happy attitude, Mady, then the answer would be yes, but I'm afraid to ask you to do anything..." Kate is seen telling her daughter, who protests feebly in this exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday's season premiere, as she watches mom prepping a meal in the family's kitchen.

"Well, you're not getting your phone back," Kate replies.

"Why?! What did I do today?" Mady wonders.

So what did she do to deserve such a punishment?

"No, I do not remember why," Kate, sitting between twins Mady and Cara, then says during one of the show's interview segments. "She has it taken away more than she really has it."

"She's really good at buttering me up and being very sweet after she loses her phone in order to get it back," the Celebrity Apprentice star furhter explains. 

So mom doesn't know why she's always taking her daughter's phone away. Does Mady remember any of the specifics?

Ellen DeGeneres Spoofs George Clooney's Golden Globe Awards Speech—With Amal Alamuddin's Help!

If you watched the Golden Globes Sunday night, then you're probably still weeping overGeorge Clooney's speech when he won the Cecil B. DeMille Award. What started out as an already above average acceptance speech quickly turned into one of the most heartwarming moments in awards show history when he began addressing his wife, Amal Clooney.

Tears were shed, "Awwws" were said, but there was one person who was none too pleased with how his speech ended, and that is Ellen DeGeneres.

"There were a lot of good speeches, and his was amazing, but it just did not end the way that I thought it would," she told her audience Tuesday.

When she played his speech, there was one minor difference this time around. Ellen has been superimposed next to Amal! Dressed in a blue dress and, of course, massive pieces of jewelry, Ellen soaked up all of the words that she believed are being spoken to her. But as soon as George said "Amal" towards the very end, Ellen spat out her champagne in shock.

"Amal?!" the Ellen DeGeneres Show host exclaimed.

She reluctantly admitted defeat by rolling her eyes and clapping, but then chugged her champagne to numb her (and our) pain. After she turned off the hilarious, but obviously emotionally difficult video, Ellen admitted she was confused about certain events that evening.

"I don't know why they sat me next to her, or why I was wearing a dress," she quipped.

Who knows, maybe Ellen would have paid slightly better attention to the Monuments Men actor's speech than his wife did, as she was caught spacing out during her loving husband's tribute. Yikes!

If Beyoncé is indeed pregnant, she's not showing yet!

The "7/11" singer sparked rumors that she might be expecting her second child on Sunday after posting a picture of herself buried in the sand with what appeared to be an exaggerated baby bump. Per usual, Beyoncé didn't offer any context via a photo caption, leading many to wonder if she'd used Instagram to make a pregnancy announcement. The speculation intensified, and on Monday, Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams tried to put rumors to rest. "You know, when she was pregnant people said that she wasn't pregnant and you know, it's just no truth to it," the "Say Yes" singer shared on The View. "Sorry!"

The co-hosts analyzed Beyoncé's Instagram picture further, but Williams wasn't having it. "First of all, first of all, if you look at the picture, the baby bump is like where her knees probably really are so that's it, really," the 34-year-old gospel singer said. "All these allusions, just stop it. Stop it! Too many things."

Several hours after Williams' morning TV appearance, Beyoncé, 33, cheered on the Brooklyn Nets when the team played the Houston Rockets at the Barclays Center. Joined by her husband, Jay Z, the Grammy winner's shirt was tucked into high-waisted jeans. While sitting courtside, she removed her winter coat.

Asked in July 2013 if he wants more kids with Beyoncé, Jay Z told Hot 97 radio host Angie Martinez "absolutely." In fact, the rapper said he would like enough children to form "a little basketball team."

 

Woody Allen, Amazon Team for His First Ever TV Series

 Amazon has ordered a full season of a new series, currently titledUntitled Woody Allen Project, which will be written and directed by the filmmaker.

"I don't know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I'm not sure where to begin," Allen said in a statement. "My guess is that Roy Price will regret this."

No details on the series, aside from its half-hour running time, were released. The show will be on Amazon Prime with more details to come.

"Woody Allen is a visionary creator who has made some of the greatest films of all-time, and it's an honor to be working with him on his first television series," Roy Price, vice president of Amazon Studios, said in a statement. "From Annie Hall to Blue Jasmine, Woody has been at the creative forefront of American cinema and we couldn't be more excited to premiere his first TV series exclusively on Prime Instant Video next year."

Amazon's critically acclaimed Transparent just won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series and its star Jeffrey Tambor took home the Best Actor in a Comedy Series award for his portrayal of transgender woman Maura Pfefferman.

 

Macklemore and Oscar the Grouch Remix "Thrift Shop" for Sesame Street—Watch Now!

Macklemore has seriously upped his street cred—his Sesame Street cred, that is!

The rapper teamed up with the one and only Oscar the Grouch to create a kid-friendly remixof his 2012 hit "Thrift Shop." Only, instead of searching the thrift shop for vintage clothes, these two looked for the yuckiest, grimiest trash they could in trash cans!

The remix's beat remained the same as in the original, but in order to make it G-rated, dirtylyrics (as in, Oscar's kind of dirty) were swapped in for the explicit lines! Obviously, Macklemore couldn't rap that something is "f--king awesome" on a PBS show for children, but he and Oscar could celebrate what's "gross and awesome!"

Macklemore danced with Oscar and his pals, and he even got inside a trash can! He was resourceful, too, just like in the original version of the song. Instead of "one man's trash" being "another man's come-up," it's "one grouch's trash, that's another grouch's outfit."

The "Thrift Shop" remix is catchy and kid-friendly, indeed, but some critics were quick to point out original version of the song as well as much of Macklemore's other material contains explicit language and content that might be inappropriate even for adults. Sesame Street gang is used to controversy, though—remember Katy Perry's busty Elmo get-up?

In any case, Macklemore seemed to enjoy doing the family-friendly version of his hit. He might just be creating some more kiddy content in the near future, too! Reason being? He and fiancée Tricia Davis are expecting their first baby!

Once that little one arrives, dad might have to make a return visit to Sesame Street—good thing he knows how to get there!
