Jourdan Dunn Is British Vogue's First Solo Black Cover Model in 12 Years: See the Stunning Shot!

Jourdan Dunn Is British Vogue's First Solo Black Cover Model in 12 Years: See the Stunning Shot!

From the Victoria's Secret catwalk to the pages of British Vogue magazine!
Jourdan Dunn is featured on the February cover of the fashion bible, appearing effortlessly gorgeous in a pretty yellow dress from Prada's spring collection—an image which she so kindly shared on her Instagram page.
"I'm so Happy to finally say I'M ON THE COVER OF BRITISH VOGUE!!!" the 24-year-old British beauty enthusiastically captioned the pic. "Thank you @britishvogue,Patrick Demarchelier and Kate Phelan for making this happen and also thank you all for the Love and Support it means everything to me #2015YearOfTheDunn."
While scoring the cover is undoubtedly a milestone for the supermodel's career, Dunn is also seemingly breaking down beauty barriers, as the leggy stunner is the first solo black model to cover the U.K. publication in 12 years.
She has previously appeared on the cover of Miss Vogue U.K. and in 2008, she covered British Vogue with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Eden Clark, however, not a single black woman has covered the magazine solo since Naomi Campbell in 2002.
Dunn's model counterparts, including Cara DelevingneGeorgia May Jagger and Kate Uptonhave all been featured on the mag in 2014 (Cara even appeared twice), and, as the publication illustrated in a recent Instagram post, there's been a serious lack of diversity on the mag's covers over the last year (yes, every single model is white).
